We are looking to recruit a Manager who will lead, manage and develop the organisation.
Salary: £33,000 pro rata – 4 days a week.
The successful applicant will have significant managerial experience, excellent organisational, communication skills, funding experience and a significant understanding of issues experienced by young people .
The post is funded by Glasgow City Council initially until March 2019.

Counsellor/Counselling and Wellbeing Co-ordinator
Salary: £24,324 pro rata per annum for 17.5 hours per week
Base: YCSA, 48 Darnley Street, Glasgow
Youth Community Support Agency (YCSA) has been providing support for BME young people in Glasgow for over 20 years, from our base in Pollokshields. We provide holistic support through a variety of in-house services to ensure young people aged 12-25 from ethnic minority backgrounds have effective support to help them overcome barriers and reach positive destinations. The Counselling and Wellbeing Service forms one strand of this work. Support is also provided to parents/carers of the young people as required.
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Counsellor to provide Counselling and to support our Volunteer Counsellors and Wellbeing practitioners in providing a quality service. The Counsellor / Counselling and Wellbeing Co-ordinator will form part of the YCSA team and work closely with the YCSA Office and Volunteer Manager.
Summary of Job Purpose
The Counsellor /Counselling Co-ordinator will:
• Provide a safe and effective Counselling and Wellbeing service to BME young people and/or their parents/carers, through direct Counselling
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Counselling and Wellbeing service including coordinating and supporting our Counselling/Wellbeing Volunteers
• Ensure the delivery of best practice throughout the Counselling and Wellbeing service.
• Contribute to effective performance management within the service and contribute to service development.
